F/S : Large case LSD

Hey everybody, I have just pulled a large case side loader LSD, from a 79 e24. (635csi)

I cant be certain on ratio, however some research has dug up that all euro spec'd 635csi's which were mated to a dogleg box had a 3.07 ratio because of the 1:1 fifth gear, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll happily straight swap for an LSD that will go into my e30

Diff is in good nick, has a bit of grime on it, just mud and dirt etc, no leaks and is in good condition.

Along with this diff, a 5 speed dogleg with 1:1 fifth gear, and clutch assembly,

Have everything needed for a manual conversion. Sorry for the name edited post after I made the thread.

I am also after a few things for my e30,

While I'm at it, I'm parting this e24 and have most parts, if you need something I''ll check and see if I have it and post up a price.

Interior pretty much totaly rotten, and alot of rust in the body.

Large case or Medium? Should fit your E30, just need to swap the back plate and output shafts. Diffs from E28, E24, E23 and E30 are all the same fitting and interchangeable, just need to swap the above to get to fit.

really? what do you mean by back plate?

This is the diff, would the ratios be way out of wack for my m20b20 though?

No, that won't fit will it? must be large case as you said.

yeap, large case side loader, apparently rarer than the later versions, wasnt quite if that would bolt into the e30 lol!
