Dash light

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Can someone please tell me what this light is for?

I've misplaced my handbook and I can't find any info on the net.

It has started coming on from time to time.

It's an E28 525ee.

All help appreciated.

Cheers

Thanks,

That's a worry though, it's recently had new pads all-round.

I'll check the wires on the wear indicators.

Cheers for your help.

Check left front & right rear(thats where sensors are), it is a closed loop from dash through each sensor & back to dash - a break in wire/plug connection (most common) or worn sensor will bring the light on.

Can simply bridge each plug connection to bypass if they are a problem

Thanks.

I seem to remember seeing a worn wire some time ago. looked like it had been rubbing on the tyre. Thought I'd moved it enough but maybe not!

Cheers.

Cat overheat... get the cat removed and have a dog fitted at Pistop :D

Edit: only if it comes on while driving. With ignition on and not going it stays on to do a self check when started.
