charvezding 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2008 Hi Guys. Got myself a 1977 BMW 530i with 735i running gear in it. Except the gearbox has decided to throw it's teddy in the corner. I'm looking at either replacing it or reconditioning it. I found quite a few 4 speed auto trannys around. Does anyone know if you can swap a zf3hp22 with a zf4hp22 straight up?
