Guest Andrew Report post Posted July 11, 2004 Well here it is - Gus' car managed to sneak in a few pics also. 1984 323i with 325i Motronic motor. Motor has: Full rebuild with these things done: Lightened + Balance crank Lightened + Balanced con rods Lightened + Balanced flywheel. 83mm pistons - rebore and rehone. 323i head from Glenn's old car with raised compression. Other mods: Jamex Daytona seats (I'd like to say the flash makes them purple - they clearly are black when you look at them normally!) Stripped interior (1070 kg with full tank of gas) Jamex 40mm Prog springs with Bilstien Sport dampers. Urethane bushes. Cosmetic - stock as! The way I like it

Gus 5 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 would you want YOUR m20 at 18000 rpm? didnt think so
petone 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 I don't think an M20 would get to 18000, well it might but you might as well throw it out afterwards or it would be in lots of different pieces all over the track. Still, we could always try. Now who wants to lend me an M20 so I can find out

At least the seats are comfy :mosh: not dodgy - checked with cert dude and warrent dude - thats how they be held in in targa cars - the seat belt holds the seat in (in an accident)
Guest Andrew Report post Posted July 15, 2004 well got it back after its first service - runs a bit nicer after valve adjustment. Full urethane bushes on the back make driver a little scary .. i mean fun. Talk about violent oversteer. Also snapped up one of these..
