Guest Andrew Report post Posted July 13, 2004 Tim - you could just use the crank. What pistons are you planing on using? The 325e pistons won't work.

318i Turbo 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 from wat i beleive the 'e' block and the 'i' are the same thing and its the crank that gives the more cc's??
petone 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2004 'i' head on a 'e' blockI not sure on this but i'm sure I read somewhere that this doesn't work too well. Something about the shape of the pistons means that you get lower compression. Why not just do what andrew said and get the crank? Are you planning on using the 282 cam that you got? Guest Andrew Report post Posted July 13, 2004 You'll want to use the diff pistons also - or modify the combustion chamber.
