Stevo 1 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Hi All Finally found the pieces I've been looking for and all in 1 place. Unfortunately its on ebay Germany, and I dont speak German and they dont ship worldwide. Anyone know someone over there or even someone who speaks German as its a damn good price and I dont want to miss it as I've been looking for ages. I can probably arrange shipping, just need to be able to communicate with the guy. Cheers Steve

Stevo 1 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Yeah tried that, came across too many words it wouldn't translate, and trying to setup an ebay account in German would probably do my head in.

You only need one eBay account which is universal. I have bought things from the US, England, Australia and Hong Kong using the same username. What exactly are you trying to ask the guy? If you goto www.ebay.com, enter the auction number, all the ebay stuff will come up in English, like this , however the text is still German...

Same jist in rest of description. To sum up: *Seller only ships to Germany (Although a nice email could change his mind). Although pick-up is free! *All are unpainted, original AC Schnitzer , and new in box with installation instructions. *It ends in 10 hours. *No warrantee - selling as is, where is. *He doesn't state Paypal as a payment method - only a 'Bank Transfer' (I think, i'm not familiar with German banks) You'll have to ask about Paypal. Stevo 1 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Man I should really start using Ebay, didn't know you could do all that. Just sent him a message, hopefully he speaks english.
martyyn 2 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Try babelfish too. What I tend to do is write my questions in Englilsh and translate it with Babelfish to German, telling them Ive only used a translation service and they always reply in English ! The only issue you might have is paying. Alot of Germans rely solely on direct bank transfers which can be expensive from here.
Cale 36 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Try Google Translator or download Google Toolbar which translates the whole page for you.
bmw.maniac 1 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Have translated the page above ^ Beware: He doesn't state Paypal as a payment option. ONLY bank transfer as Penry described. Ask if he accept paypal.
bmw.maniac 1 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Also, shipping to Germany is 20 Euros per item ($40). You could easily spend a couple of hundred on shipping.
Stevo 1 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Shipping I'm not too worried about, I've got people that can arrange that for me, and for the price of buying that stuff here its still a lot better. The no paypal does worry me a bit, but we'll see what he says.
