martyyn 2 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Just remind me....the iphone is not 3G is it ? Im looking at getting an ipod touch at the moment because I fancy the wifi functionality but then I can see myself carrying that and a phone about all day, rather than the one item and Im not sure I want to give up the video calling. Yuen 16 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 No the iPhone is not 3G... that's one of its shortcomings.

Yuen 16 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 Haha, don't we all Waiting for the 2nd generation iPhone to come out and see how good it is. I'm guessing the only thing from your list it won't have is the 160Gb HDD.

m325i 709 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 3g iphone is expected to be announced in june Yeah, rumour is it will be fatter than 1st gen and could have shorter battery life. (3g sucks juice). 3G is pretty lame IMO. Video calling, I never used it when i had it, and data is too expensive to surf the net over the network. 2nd Gen has GPS though, I think I need that. steve R 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2008 3g version will be good if a carrier here releases it, and would also be good with vodafones data plans which are coming soon
