He bought a gearbox off an asian couple in Mt Wellington who were claiming it to be a 4speed e21 gearbox, after a bit more research etc, it turned out to be a getrag 240. Regards, Ian. Im not 100% sure what i came off but it is definitly a 242 getrag box 4 speed. Ive listed it on trademe. Only 300$ reserve. Also have the gear ratio on the listing. Can be viewed in takanini area. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=156979118 Its actually got 242 written on the box in two places where you would normally find the 240 And 260 numbers on other gear boxes.
