m325i 709 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 I bought whole new wiper arms incling blades to try and fix my prob of screetching wipers, but it hasnt fixed it. My mums e36 has the same prob. are the wipers being pushed too hard on the glass? Would rainex lube the screen and stop it? Homy.D.Clown 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2004 ha thats funny cos mine started skreeching the other day...driving me MADDDD!! found it was the very tip of the actual blade had dr-railed and the metal at the end of the wiper was touching the glass on the up stroke...5second fix on the side of the road dunno if you got the same prob..but maybe check the blade fitment anyway.
