Guest Simon* Report post Posted June 1, 2008 Hey mate no worries Easy once you know. Grab the front edge and wrench it straight up! Be a man about it There is a clip each side that you'll probably have to pop free one at a time. So about the middle of each rear seat passenger's thighs is where they're located. Once both sides popped, seat slides forward a little then out. Installation is the reverse of removal! Have a go and let us know how you get on. Cheers Si

kiwi535 538 Report post Posted June 2, 2008 I find getting the seat back in is more difficult than getting it out.You have to work at both sides and get the seat base far enough back so that the front spring clips are ready to go down into the slots at the front of the seat "frame".Then give a firm push downwards, the seat should be clipped into place. Creaver 55 Report post Posted June 2, 2008 I still can't get over the fact you plainly pull up hard. I was astonished a bmw would be something so simple to do (and I was afraid I'd break something).
