Yuen 16 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 Wow it really does look very well cared for. Like new... and it's a 1998! Good luck with the sale, shouldn't be hard. PS: Did the CD storage holder come with the buttons left and right alternately like that? The ones I've seen have them all on one side but I thought this was pretty smart (I'm assuming to prevent people from accidentally pressing two at a time)
jjs 64 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 Very nice! I love these cars, well all Porsche's actually... I still remember when I first drove one of these back in about 2000. It amazed me how you could just keep accelerating around corners without fear of sliping. They are also very nicely put together and reliable. Best of luck with the sale, but why are you selling it? deeveus 81 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 Not too sure Yuen. The NZ new ones I drove before that were all like that from memory. Perhaps the Jap import ones are different? One I did drive had cup holders there & a small parcel shelf in there instead of the CD holder.

It's a very clean & tidy example of an excellent little car. Accelerating around corners is a gimme. But with most Porsches, & I know it sounds dumb but you need a full tank of fuel or atleast above half a tank which gives a better weight distribution. Makes the font a little heavier & stops any understeer.

deeveus 81 Report post Posted June 8, 2008 Interesting. Re: the cd changer, I haven't seen the ones in other Porsches, I meant other (older) cars. Might be the smart Porsche engineers! Just to clarify, it's not actually a CD Changer, it's a CD holder
