M10 cam removal?

Recommended Posts

M10B18

Have loosened thrust plate, adjusted rocker arm eccentrics for maximum play, and rotated cam so that pressure is only being exerted on 3 lobes and their respective springs.

Now how does one go about depressing these three springs so that the cam can be slid out? I can slightly depress one with both hands... but the other two?

Is it just not possible to do by yourself?

Cheers

You need to take both rocker arm shafts out to get the camshaft out
