bumpstop325 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 I have done a search on the web, but I have forgotten which M30 block can increase the displace to about 3.6L on an M30 motor? and i cant find it anymore. Sort of similar to the 'e' block on the 'i' head for the M20B27 build, but for the M30. I have read that you can use an old e23 or e12 big six (with the right engine block numbers) slap it on a later model M30 head and you got some more displacement. Does anyone know the numbers of the engine block, i am after? I have 2 M30 blocks that i can have if i want them. Also, has anyone on here done this or heard it before? Any knowledge would be helpful.
Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted July 18, 2008 Yeah, you want the block with the 93mm pistons, I have one, from an early 635, 79 I think. Pistons are marked on top, block was called M90 from memory, Topcat has all the clues on these.
