M30 Stroker engine

Recommended Posts

I have done a search on the web, but I have forgotten which M30 block can increase the displace to about 3.6L on an M30 motor? and i cant find it anymore.

Sort of similar to the 'e' block on the 'i' head for the M20B27 build, but for the M30. I have read that you can use an old e23 or e12 big six (with the right engine block numbers) slap it on a later model M30 head and you got some more displacement.

Does anyone know the numbers of the engine block, i am after? I have 2 M30 blocks that i can have if i want them.

Also, has anyone on here done this or heard it before?

Any knowledge would be helpful.

Yeah, you want the block with the 93mm pistons, I have one, from an early 635, 79 I think. Pistons are marked on top, block was called M90 from memory, Topcat has all the clues on these.
