M3 Front bumper

Recommended Posts

Hey could anyone tell me if a genuine E30 M3 Front bumper would fit a 1989 E30 BMW??

It would be a great help coz I know where I can get hold of one and I rekon it would make my car look sweet as...

Is it just coz the M3 bumper is wider that it won't fit or are all the brackets and clips different, coz my dad is quite keen to try and make it fit if the clips are similar.

all the mounts are diff - you could custom fab them up - its also wider and would look lik e ass.

Could we stop the blatant spread of misinformation?

It is not wider than a normal E30 piece. But the mounts are different.

sport evo wings are wider, hence the need for evo3 hood seals....dunno about the other m3s compared to e30....but why bother? too much hassle

Sport Evo wings are cut taller, they're NOT wider.

Sport Evo hood seals are to smooth the airflow around the bonnet, you can get bumper seals that do the same thing.

front bumper was 2 cm wider at each point last time it was measured on the one going on gavin bellars car. Not really so much wider but to fit into the arches.
