e30 manifold

Hi Guys

Do any of the e30 cars have a m30 engine in it cause i found a e30 turbo manifold for cheap and worked out if they have a m30 engine in them i should be able to use this manifold, otherwise

alot of modding will need to be done

Unfortunately no E30* came with an M30.

If its a cheap chinese manifold it will develop cheap chinese cracks (apparently). It also may not fit on a RHD car. You need to be careful.

* No normal E30 - may have been tuner specials or SA specials.

Hi Kym, the word that you use in that sentence that jumps out at me the most is CHEAP. I have been down that track before and it is not worth it even if it was the right manifold for your application. Have used cheap manifolds before and this really is the vital area where you simply can not cheap out.

Eventually you will end up spending more money having cracks re-welded and that of course involves labour which is expensive. Most cases its easier to have a custom manifold made by someone who knows what they are doing.
