Scratched & Cracked Instrument cluster Facia

Is it possible to remove the clear plastic that covers your instruments in an E30 (looks glued on) or can I buy a 2nd hand cluster and swap the gauges?

E30? If so then it is possible to remove the plastic bit, a lot of American forums have writeups for it.
