stupid electrical problem

ive got a 325i e30 and whenever my headlights are on and i indicate to turn right my full beam turns on by itself and turns off once my indicator clicks off. doesnt do it when i signal left tho

anyone know how to remedy this??

Faulty dip switch - replace it to fix

Sounds like a bad earth or earth loop to me. Check the relays for the indicators and headlights.

Contradiction here - bad earth/ relays - two different circuits

Indicators dont use a relay

Probably dip switch fault - been there - done that!

oops, my bad. Unsure on BMW's as am new to them. Indicators do use a relay, a flasher relay.

Commonly known as flasher unit (& as I refer it to) rather than relay. That unit wont be affected by headlight operation to cause the stated problem
