_BRS_ 209 Report post Posted September 25, 2008 (edited) A full set of Navy Blue leather Recaros came up from a mate of mine for a good price, i jumped at the opportunity. Unfortunately they were a bit tired and i didn't want to just chuck them in my car "as is" So heres my story... what they were like when i got them i went to a few shoe places in town looking for the Waproo shoe cream that Ryan used on his but couldnt find it, i got suked into buying a few items...one was this cream the other this colouring stuff and another some mousturising type thing that im guna take back! so i wiped the seats down then applied the cream over all the leather, very heavy in places in need as shown once this dried the next day i buffed it off then applied the colouring nugget type stuff, straight away i didnt like it so stopped today i piked up this spray on colour dye that would do the job i wanted quickly and get the results it worked, here are the results before: after: after this was done i applied this clear protector spray to make my work last! BTW If any one is keen to buy these they are for sale! im after a black set with black leather door cards for elec windows too and a tidy as grey carpet set with mats! Blair PS more pics in next post as this was too big sorry Edited September 25, 2008 by _BRS_

e30plz 1 Report post Posted October 1, 2008 Yeah probably wouldn't work too well Hmm the leather seats would look a bit out of place with my racing harness Nah would look good, If only I could afford them..
Yamahoo 6 Report post Posted October 1, 2008 Hey, looks good. Where did you get that leather spray stuff? I've looked for that kind of stuff but have never been able to find any.
Mark 178 Report post Posted October 1, 2008 Leather can be dyed different colours. There is a place in Christchurch that can do this. Bound to be similar places elsewhere in the country. When I was looking at a 328i with some rather worn vader seats I was quoted around 400 for a full re-dye of the seats.
