Wom 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2008 Hi I was checking the coolant levels and oil etc and noticed the rubber boot from the top of the radiator is stuffed (as in the bottom half of it is missing lol). I'm wondering, where can I pick up a new rubber boot? Item number 1 in this diagram .... http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...;fg=23&hl=8 Is this something I could just zip down to Repco and pick up? Or should I go visit a local BMW mechanic and get it off them?

It's to channel air to cool the alternator, seems to be common enough that they break in E36s, I guess it is due to age and heat.
