E34 Electric Seat Gremlin

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm having a little bit of a problem with the passenger seat in my E34 :(

It moves in all directions (forwards, tilting, up, down etc) except sliding backwards. On the odd occasion if you fiddle with it then it goes backwards but there's nothing specifically you can do with it to make it go backwards if it doesn't want to. At the moment it's not sliding backwards as much as I fiddle with it... <_<

Is there anything I should be looking at or anything that you think could be broken? Thanks in advance

I'm a tilt and twist guy. Headrests even. Can sort those but haven't come across any slide issues

In saying that I found some awesome info on these sites for mine

Cool thanks Simon, I'll give this link a go from those pages.

Too many birds in the front seat Paul & having to adjust it for the BOTH of you!
