340i 3 Report post Posted January 17, 2009 rb20det conversion's a bad idea imo. they're very heavy motors and are only two litre. by the time you mess round with intercooler and piping etc, you may as well do an LS1 conversion for similar coin. more power, similar/lower weight, and a sound that craps on any skyline engine, particularly when coming from a beemer. t56 would be awesome too. And locals always ask me why I didnt just RB mine haha You will find an RB in just about any kinda Japa vehicle round here Danny. ashy_aye 3 Report post Posted February 2, 2009 hey dude save ur self a lot of time and money put in a SR20det. i hav built a e30 with a S2 RB25det, now building a e30 RB32det but if you realy want to go ahead with ur mission i have engine and trans mounts made if u wanted to copy them.could post sum pic's also if ur interested? good-luck!!
