Guest FrantiC Report post Posted December 9, 2008 Go to a local bike shop and pick up a 32mm headset wrench. They are about 2mm thick and fit easy in between the fan and water pump pulley. Most of the time putting the wrench over the bolt at 2 o'clock (facing towards the front of the car) and giving it a whack clockwise with a mallet will break it free. You may need to grab the V- belt across the alternator and where it goes down to teh crank again and tighten it to stop the waterpump pulley from moving. tibbs.james 1 Report post Posted December 13, 2008 Do you need to remove the Viscous part ? because you can just undo the 8 10mm bolts holding the plastic fan piece on if you don't need to remove the entire fan assembly.
