Calling all E46 technicians

Recommended Posts

Hi people,

Not sure if any1 has had the same problem but if im cruising around 40kms my breaks/wheels start to squeek, almost like the brake pad indicators are workin, but i've replaced all rotors and pads on my car the other week. Also, the wheel bearings seem fine and have no play in them. What could that sound be?

Any help would be fab.

Cheers,

Dan

You probably used non genuine parts.. we only use OEM for this reason. Check brake parts will do this.

Thanks for the reply Glen, but i have used OEM parts. Especially for the brakes cause they are good enough standard. Hmmm may have to send it into the shop then.

Sorry,disregard my last post.

What i meant to say is, I had the same problem noise and it turned out to be a little stone that was lodged between the backing plat and the disc.
