diablo23 1 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 (edited) Hi all, Is there any way to prevent or fix brakes from squeaking on an e39? Is the e39 brake pads crap or...do they usually need replacing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Edited December 16, 2008 by Tha Cosa Nostra
greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 Are you sure they're not just low? Because they do that if they need replacing.

darkwolf 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 well i just got a brand new wof so i didnt think they'd be to low ay I got a WOF last year 4 days later I pulled the car into the driveway and left it there. The brakes had begun wearing down the backing plate They also hadn't been making any noise either (though my brake discs had turned a rather dark shade of grey:) )
318Touring 40 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 Your brake pads warning light should be illuminated. That if the previous owner didn't scrimp on buying the sensors!!
