Zee 316i 0 Report post Posted December 22, 2008 Hi guys, I have my wee 316i E36 that i would like to eventually fit some new lights to. When looking on trademe it seems like nothing will fit my car. Exactly what will fit my car? I was looking at these: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=193884943 The Auction states: Will fit 1991-1998 4 DOORS SEDAN ( 316 318 320 323 325 328 ETC ) But i asked if they will fit my 316i Hatchback and was told no. So is there a difference between the 4 door sedan lights and the lights for a hatch back? Im almost stumpted as to what is going to fit, and is this going to be the same for my headlights, will i have trouble finding something to fit. Any help would be appriciated. greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted December 22, 2008 Sedan, Touring, Compact, Coupe all have different rear lights. The only ones which share the same rear lights are the coupe and the convertible. If you want to upgrade the rear lights on your compact then you need to find lights that are off a compact or a meant for a compact. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mark 178 Report post Posted December 22, 2008 Compacts are the bastard child of the E36 range, which is why no one makes aftermarket parts for them!
