crazyarab 6 Report post Posted December 31, 2008 (edited) I am thinking of getting some race slicks for the track but they require a minimum of 8" width mags. My question is how can I determine what width my mags are? I have two sets, one set is the factory E36 M3 mags and another are the 17" BBS CH's. I have looked at both and could not find any numbers resembling mag width anywhere, if someone could enlighten me I would be very much appreciative! zenetti 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2008 measure from the inside of one bead to the inside of the other bead on your wheel, this will give you the width

crazyarab 6 Report post Posted December 31, 2008 Hmm BBS says "81/2J" not sure what thats supposed to mean... I measured "bead to bead" on the stock mags and it's 21.5 cm approx 8.5 inch? So seems like I could be in the clear.
