Socket stuck in Sparkplug Cylinder

HELP!!

The socket for removing my spark plug wont come out!! It turns but wont grip enough to pull out.

Any suggestions?

Is it the socket or the spark plug you are having problems with ? If its the socket, youve used the wrong size socket... you should use a magnetic 16mm for your spark plugs. To get the socket out, put a little supper glue on the tip of the extension, give it time to set and gently remove it while turning it slowly

Tis the socket. doesnt quite get onto spark plug. Slid down there easily and didnt push it down so is weird. Guess there is downward pressure anyways.

You must be using the wrong size socket... I take it you are trying to do this on your E39 535 ??

Shet like this is where I dig into my box and pull out the blue tack

Put onto end of extension and push onto socket

Put on screw driver and reach down to pick up dropped screw

And so on :D

FIXED. It was on a legnum.
