Mash 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2009 (edited) Just brought my self a set of AC schnitzer style 3 for my e39, Fronts are 8.5 ET 18 and rears are 9.5 ET 23 On the rear i want to run some slip on spacers, to space the wheels out a bit more to fill the guards. But need to know what would be a good stretched size tyre on a 19x9.5? Regards Edited January 9, 2009 by lowSIR E39
zenetti 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2009 don't worry about a slip on spacer, run a 265/30/19 or 275/30/19, it will fill the guards out nicely.
Mash 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2009 But there would be no stretch in the tyres right? Want the tyres to fit and sit like this e39. (i know my wheels are not that wide)

Mash 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2009 mat with your spring setup thats not posible remember your fronts are tucked Nah sussed front, I just want the back to be as flash as front with the guards. Running 215s at front and fits in well with a lot of stretch.
amuses2k 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 275s will generally fill it in nicely, i've got 9.5 rims on my car and 265s just stretch a little. Also depends on the model/brand as some brands are slightly wider/narrower. my 2c
Mattzy 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 I don't know what you guys call "stretch" but for 8.5's and 9.5's my idea of sensible stretch is: 215's on the front & 225's on the back. 30-35's size side profiles all around
Mash 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 Yeah going 215 front and 235 back, but car does tuck front and back abit
Mattzy 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 (edited) Sounds alright. My rule for good fitment is you make the wheels fit the car. Im sure you wont have much issue fitting that. Got any current pics? Edited January 11, 2009 by Mattzy

Using falkin fk-452's at 265. 265 width on a falkin is more like a 255 on a conti .. its got a lot to do with brand choice as they all have about 10mm difference between some brands. Yeah I agree, different brands/models have different sizes I've found. I'm using Toyo 265/30/19 T1R on my 9.5" rear wheels and they look mildly stretched. Thinking of going 275/30/19 next time around.
