ETK and TIS software

got a opportunity to buy a 5 cd service set called TIS software. Is this the same as the ETK software, or completly different??

You get ETK.. which has EPC... ETK has TIS..

hah.. EPC = Electronic Parts Catalog

TIS = Technical Information Service.. has Technical bulletins and how to repair it for the BMW mechanics and stuff.

Just finished doing a google on this stuff. Look slike Im getting the following:

TIS (Technical Information System)

ETK (Electronic Parts Catalog)

ETM (Electrical Toubleshooting Manual)

KSD (Suggested Repair Time)

Have it monday..WOHOOOO

At home (NT4) all the images are upside down and mirrored, WTF!!

Easy once you know what you are looking at. LOL.

What problems did you have in installing it?... I will have mine monday, so if you have some install tips ( if its a unusual installing programme ), I would love to hear them :thumb:

esp when you ring up the stealer and tell them what part number you need.

Got mine installed NO problems at all. I think thet key is to install the sysadmin Tool part first ( on the EPC disc.) Then from in there, install each the ETK ( actually under EPC on tool bar ) and TIS from the tool bar within the sysadmin tool.

I installed the TIS onto hard drive... mistake cos it took 1.5 hours to load !!..phew.
