cooling system?

was in my airbox but gone to a pod filter, so now its just out in the open (idles smoother now tho)

can i do away with it??

or keep it

what it go??

just dont know if i can get away with just pluging up both ends,

waz idling at the 9 to 12 rpm and surging, now i have goten rid of the airbox it sits on about 7-8rpm,

is it for like incressing engine revs when its cold??

would have to have a look, not too sure, dont worry wont kill your engine tho. I thought you Just relace you air filter??

Isn't it for heating the TB up or something, Especially on cold starts.

I don't know what it's connected too. Similar piece on the E30 thought connected to the TB I by-passed mine and where you would need 1 hose (A), that piece (B ), and another hose (C ) I used 1 hose from A to C.

If that makes sense. But I am only assuming. Usually it is there to heat something up when the car is cold.

No 10 thermostat works on ambient air temperature. When its cold it allows hot water to flow through the throttle body to stop it icing up. Leave it there...just remount it
