akanatural 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2009 Ive noticed a tapping noise when i start my E38 - it gets faster as i accelerate and is fairly noisy .. Its a 97 728i and i havent had any probs with it until this. Car still runs great hasnt lost any power at all..Its due for a service so i'll take it in for that and get it checked out ths week ... anyone know of a good place in Lower/Upper Hutt to take it .... or in Welly?
