1st up remedy (non-technical ;) ): Hold down window button and give the inside of the offending door panel a firm thump with your fist.

Yeah, had the same problem, my window motor was making noise, trying to get the window down. I just took off the door cards and found the glass had jammed into the lower bumpstop, un-did it, adjusted, window works.

Otherwise a nice old worn out switch as suggested.

Might want to check the switches are plugged in then..

Swap 2 of the switches and see if it works. If not..its the window motor

^ Yeah, take a switch that you know is working and try the window with that switch. If it works you need to clean switch or get a new one. Otherwise get a new motor.

Switches, switches, switches for the bitches ;)

To sum up; Probably dodgy switches, my ex's car the rear switches went, just needed a bit of a clean out.

Heres a tip, whenever I get another car, I always grab a couple of E/window swiches from a scrapper, usually cheap enough, then I check them at home to make sure they work, and then put them in the glove box.

Switches.

And dont just replace the console ones. A faulty passenger door switch will also prevent things from working.
