The only ones that will affect most BMW owners is the introduction of the more stringent emissions laws for imported vehicles that we discussed ad infinitum last year. Well, now they are slightly more clear in terms of the definitions of the standards. Also an amendment to the WOF inspection rules for tyres. It used to be 1.5mm across 3/4 of the tread, then it went to 1.5mm across all of the tread, then it went to 1.5mm on all principal grooves with tread wear indicators. The current change only applies to tyres without tread wear indicators in the principal grooves which now require them to comply with the old 1.5mm over 3/4 rule. So 99% of us won't be affected.
