rds 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2009 Been looking for a new high performance clutch for me Getrag 260, http://www.gripforce.com/ stocks a F1 Racing Stage 3 Clutch Kit BMW 325 (84-92) # This complete clutch kit includes: F1 Racing Stage 3 Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate # F1 Racing Stage 3 Copper Ceramic 6-puck Disc (225mm, 10 spline) # Release Bearing # Pilot Bearing # Alignment Tool # Installation Guide The sales person for gripforce cant tell me if this fits, and im stuggling to find any decent info online about it. I read that 323 & 325 clutches are normally 228mm. Can someone PLEASE help, because i would like to purchase this if it fits. (p.s. the reason im getting such a clutch is that there is a turbo in-waiting)
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted April 27, 2009 From what I read in there I would say you'll be fine. I'd get the flywheel lightened as well I hope youve driven a puk clutch before....not the nicest for driving round town

JiB 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2009 If it helps, I'm using all the manual bits from a 323i on my PFL 325i. Doesn't seem to have any differences apart from flywheel and g/box sensors.
Guest FrantiC Report post Posted April 28, 2009 That's pretty cheap and pretty much exactly what I was after, I tried to order it but it wouldn't let me get through the shipping stuff

So thats $314USD, Which should be like $550NZD to your door which I think is a very good price (considering I was about to buy an exedy clutch for $470+GST but it was only a stock one, was heasitant as I am going turbo with my m20.) Good find btw

rds 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 Yea the lsd centres probably fit in the stardard price large box. These clutches apparently dont fit in that box. Seems like hes ripped me of 30US!!!1 but I need this clutch in NZ before I put the engine in the car.
