QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 Hello everybody, I have a brake fluid leak, (yes there is no need to point out to me that brakes are a crucial part of the car, I understand they involve stopping the vehicle, and I know they are important for safety) I know this much, it's coming from the booster/master cylinder area. (The brake fluid underneath gives it away) Tomorrow I investigate, but before I do, I was just curious if there are any common areas for a master cylinder/line/booster to fail, as I'd like to minimize the time to find it. Any info would be great, E30 -327i (facelift motor) NON Abs.
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted May 3, 2009 Resleeve & rekit master cylinder or fit a new master cylinder. There is no fluid in the booster. If its leaking down the front of the booster, its coming from the master cylinder.
