CamB 48 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 I actually think its kinda stupid for actual driving - don't get me wrong, they look extremely hot, but both use 195 front, 215 or 225 rear on 8+/9+" wheels. It would ride and corner like crap and the geometry would be screwed. But it undeniably looks hot. Maybe you're right Riley - "street driven" ---> would be hopeless on a track. What I really wonder is if they actually drive around like that, or just sack them for special occasions?
greenday-rulz21 6 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 WOAH! Turbine 1s with whitewall?! Easily my new favourite shoes for an E30 Not white wall. Its the rims.
drifty325i 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 I believe they do drive them like that, they have both modified the sumps to run that low. I'm not game to go that low but id love to!! But id rather keep my handling thanks
CamB 48 Report post Posted May 12, 2009 Quite aside from that, the M3 (which most would consider quite high) touches in the middle on the way into the parking building I go to. A short wheel base would help, but those E30s would be beached as...

JiB 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2010 I dunno....I think in my head I'd like them better if they were on air ride. They're too low to have fun in (unless they raised all the suspension pickups ala btcc). And if you're gonna go that low...you might as well be able to lay frame. The dash dodging cage in the green one's a turn off for me. But raise 'em and I'd love 'em.
