25mm 750i Brake Master Cylinder - Brand New

Recommended Posts

As the title says, brand new 25mm MC from a 750i. Made by Ate, who are OEM suppliers. I believe it will fit a number of other models, definately e30's. I think non-ABS e30's need a second t-line or something like that, r3v has heaps of info on this mod. gus might have even written something about it here. You want this if you have installed after market brakes with bigger pistons, or if you have standard brakes and want a stiffer pedal.

$250

Will this bolt on to the booster? I've been told it would sit at a 45deg angle?

Yip. by someone who hasn't done it?

I have the exact same one on my E30.

If you need one, at $250 brand new, there is no excuse not to buy it.

By someone who probably used the wrong BMC. So does it bolt on? I have a non-ABS 325i E30. Internets also conflict some say the fittings are too big? etc etc.

Just to clarify, it would most likely fit, but that's not the issue, I think there are two different bores, and also, there is a 3 outlet and a 2 outlet version, one uses a modulator (most commonly with ABS with the 2 outlet version) and also sometimes that modulator is used on a NON abs e30 with the 3 outlet BMC, so yep, just check which one u have.

Sold, thanks Mike.

Remember the M3 runs a 23.something mm from factory, so its not a huge upgrade for us, defintely worthwhile though!

stiffness is not always a good thing, you want modulation and a small MC is more powerful per amount of pressure you put on it - essential for big brakes though that use a bigger volume of fluid

That's the plan, AP 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears.

I have the bell hats here that were machined in Germany.
