DRTDVL 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2009 Sorry about the sound system fellas. We tuned our output so it wasn't to harsh on the ears. Unfortunitly Zen was trying out a new setup for the live input of the sound system. The DJ side was nice and loud but we were down quite a few DB. In the end we had our output set +8db over just to get it up however all this was doing was driving the limiters. That will be the compressed sound you were hearing down the back. The sad thing was our stage monitors were providing the clarity hence was it sounds clearer up the front. We tried in vein to do something about it during the set but as you could imagine we had our hands full. All in all very happy with how it went! and look on the bright side. People went home without a hiss in their ears afterwards. Thats all good man, i wasn't sure if you guys knew or not... Hopefully the next gig will be better...
