keen 6 Report post Posted May 28, 2009 Does anyone know if there is a genuine e46 tow bar? if so what does it look like? and what would it cost? and is there a loom to go with it,I have been told that it has to be wired in up to the front so as to not interfere with the ECU. elmarco 56 Report post Posted May 29, 2009 The genuine OEM towbar comes from Best Bars in Manurewa. This is normally the removable tongue type and from memory was around $900 fitted. Yes you need a wiring loom for the lights (or some relays and wire it up yourself). Not sure on the price, but I have heard crazy stuff like $500 for the loom, and I don't remember if Best Bars installation included the wiring or not.
