BMW Service - Authorised or Non?

Recommended Posts

I own a late '05 120d that has just come out of BMW Service Inclusive – which means I now need to pay for servicing. CBS has come on, and I at least need an oil and oil filter change, and a brake fluid change.

Now I’m wondering if I should get this done at Jerry Clayton or try an independent like MotorService Ltd.

Any advice/opinions would be appreciated.

Cheers!

We can do it here for you :D

Of course! And I didn't mean to be rude...

Do costs differ vastly, JC claim to be the cheapest (banner above)...

They are probably the cheapest dealer... independent workshops have a lower charge out rate. Ours is $75 + Gst retail per hour. With 10% discount to BS members

It really depends on yourself(I am pretty sure you can afford both).Obviously the car is pretty much like new....If I were you I would go to authorized BMW dealers......the reason is there won't be much difference on the cost for servicing a near new car....(Just my personal opinion). If you own one of the older cars and need to fix a few stuffs......A private workshop will save you heaps of money.
