Opening Front Kickpanel

Recommended Posts

Was going to go out and pull the kick panels out of my E30, then measure up everything to see if i can space out and fit my 6.5" in....

Nope, Couldn't work out how, so here I am :)

Anyone know how, or have a guide?

Ta,

Michael

theres a screw in there basically where the speaker is,

and if your doing the passenger side you have to unbolt the bonnet release also ,

then just pull it out a little bit to clear the carpet and pull it down( they are usually brittle so be careful)

Yup...

Clearly stock then.. They looked a bit nice to be stock though... as most stock stereos I pull out of cars this age, the cones are completely knackered.

Decided to flag the idea of putting the 6.5"s in the kickpanel, Going to put them in the doors instead :)
