kurtyb 1 Report post Posted July 10, 2009 when i start my e30 6cl 1st thing in the morning it sounds as if its miss firing when i rev it?? and at idle the revs increase and decrease on its own? when the revs decrease it drops to the point where the ignition lights come on for a split second then the revs increase again? this continues to happen until the car cuts off? but when car is warn it runs like a dream! what could it be? :-( Reminder: im a noobie to e30s! ahaha Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Matty104 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2009 Try getting some air flow sensor cleaner and clean the air flow meter and idle control valve out with it, it should help it, it fixed mine about a year ago but its slowly coming back , both mine and my flatmates cars do it, ( both e30's) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
