Price for old skool bmw 2002

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

I know of a shell of a old bmw 2002, what sort of price would people reakon it would be worth paying for i have plans for the motor,

but wunder what people would pay for a bare shell, and maybe parts if they had them, as its kinda depressing cause there is one down the road from my parents bach just sitting outside for last few years.

i know the guy wanted to work on it but common hes done nothing, so what sort of price would be worth paying.

Depends. A lot.

How much rust, how much missing. How knackered are the (non-engine) mechanicals.

The Car would defo need a good work over, think he has enough for it to be a rolling shell, would need to be sanded down and repainted etc,

he also has the engine - i would say around the 500 mark for the shell with doors etc on it, maybe no windows as im not to fussed to the engines in and running.

ill see if im up there next w.e to try go over and get some pics if hes upto it.

but any info on even a rough price people would pay would be good, its going to be for my partner if i did get it.

$500 maybe yeah - it could cost a fortune to find parts if its not complete. There aren't THAT many around.

Having said that, there's a dude selling a 2002 rear windscreen on trademe who has a bunch of bits cheap. Some bits easy to find, some shocking.
