Boost Junky 1 Report post Posted July 24, 2009 Finally decided to bother fixing the time zone settings for how I see the time in posts etc on the forum.. Why is it that I have to have my time zone set on "(GMT + 11:00 hours) Magadanm New Caledonia, Solomon Is." To have my times show up correct.. If I have it set on "(GMT + 12:00 hours) AUckland, Fiji, Marhsall Island" then any times show up in posts an hour faster than they should be? Could it be my settings under date and time properties on my PC that cause this? I shouldnt see why as my time is correct on my PC and have my internet time synchronized with an internet time server...

martyyn 2 Report post Posted July 24, 2009 I was just looking at this the other day (just before the software started playing around with the font sizes). I too had it on the +11 time settings but Ive just looked and its showing the time as being 6.29 (when its 7.29) so Ive just set it to +12 for Auckland etc. Fingers crossed its correct now. Yea mines done it for ages though Penry, much before the other day when the software started doing that font size issue. Is yours set on +12 for Auckland and its fine? Luke, check that DST isn't still in force. Next section down from time settings. Haha yea if I have the DST box ticked it advances the time another hour again....
