I am currently looking at an E30 325I manual sedan at the moment as a swap for my little bike. The listing on trademe has expired as of today. It has 283ish k on the clock, nz new, reasonably straight looking sedan. What should I look out for? The last BMW I owned went and snapped a rocker on me [same motor...] Anything that goes wrong in the e30's that I should be scared of? Apart from the dash electrics... According to the listing the car had the cam belt, accessory belts replaced and any small mechanical dramas aren't exactly a worry, I am meant to be a back yard mechanic....and panel beater.
