oscar90 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2009 Up for sale/Expressions of interest is my project, just seeing if there is anyone interested in buying this before its complete, as after some thinking and some quick workings out i've realised i've spent far too much on cars and two is unnessesary at this stage being on a rather average apprentice wage, and would like to travel next year, so theres no hurry and if no interest i'll finish it and enjoy it then sell or store at a later date, Detail as follows 1986 325i Manual 4 Door 194 Miles M20B25 engine 5 Speed factory Manual Sunroof Open 3.64 Diff Brand New Engine bits etc: Cambelt and other belts Tensioner Distributor Cap Distributor Rotor Water Pump Oil Filter Magnatec Oil Battery Diff oil Second hand new: Sump Sump Guard Brand New suspension Bits: KYB Shocks King Springs (Super Lows) (rears currently being installed) Front Suspension Bushes - urethane Front Spring Pads (Currently in the process of doing the rear suspension) Other: Brand new 15x7 Avanti Bronze wheels (E30 series wheels) Brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE001 tyres Complete factory tool kit in boot Dash Matt Battery Cover BMW Tow bar Second Hand New Tail lights Has had professional Rust removal and has had aerial hole shaved (smoothed over) Have receipts for almost everything i've brought Brand New I've cleaned the Interior, Carpet and Seats, and cleaned all the dash etc, Small Rip in Drivers Seat from getting in and out Paint Work is Average Bumpers are Average As said above though this is a Project, but is fully driveable apart from leaglities, and the fact its getting rear shocks and springs installed at the moment LOL Why its a Project: Rego is Dead, some people Deem it too hard to put Registration on hold apparently , So it needs a re rego Test From VTNZ or AA, because this was registered in NZ before 1991 i'm am lead to believe from what I have found out that it goes through the easier test than a Full Compliance test, more like a Wof with some extras thrown in Im asking $5500, am negotiable depending on interest etc It doesnt need much to get back on the road, so if the asking price is unrealistic (hard to price a car like this obviously due to rego status/inconvenience) or no ones interested then i will just finish it etc and ask a higher price in the future no drama's It owes me alot more than $5500 so i think this price is fair... obviously i would, im the seller, we always think the price is right!
