sadida20 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2009 Hey guys I had to jump the car tonight. Once it going it was fine till about 15 mins into the drive i slowed to stop (clutch in) and it cut out.radio started to sort of cut out too. It didnt restart. 323e30 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2009 Only things i can think of at the moment is the alternator finally wearing its brushes out, or maybe the battery is shorting out on the bonnet. (unless its in boot) or could even be the starters brushes shorting to earth? Not very likely to be that though. Bad connection where the earth strap is from chassis to engine.?
