wheel refurb

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I'm wanting to refurbish my rims. I have spoken with Brugar Engineering on the shore and they sound reasonable.

They however said when refurbishing the wheels they cannot print the AC Schnitzer writing on it and that would all be lost when repainted.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get this painted on?

Ian

maybe just refurb the wheels but not the caps. Then you could possibly put a light coat of spray paint on so you can still see the AC parts?

Jono, I think Ian is talking about the AC Schnitzer print on the spoke.

I've always believe they're a decal. You should be able to get some in from eBay.

haha - of course he is. My brain is fried, it has been a long day. I always thought it was a decal as well.

Perhaps it is a decal? when I run my hand over the writing on the rim it is smooth.

Brent - Unfortunately centre caps like that are not what i'm after, want to keep it looking how it is.
