F4LLEN328 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2009 Hey Guys, looking for some advice on the best route to take to black the roof, same as attached picture. Do i paint it, risking a potential eyesore that cant be easily reversed. Or do i vinyl, but with a lucklustre finish? There is also the option to Carbon fibre vinyl, but im already thinking this idea is going to look obviously fake and not a good idea. If i paint, do i go simple gloss black or a bmw black. Yeah, thats what i was thinking, but what are the finishes like these days? Will it be as nice as a freshly painted clearcoat on a gloss black? Also, who does this kind of vinyl in Auckland? uhlsta 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2009 (edited) You could get a Printed Black vinyl with a high gloss over laminate or just normal black vinyl ant get in laminated with a high gloss. Pretty much just about any good signwriter can do it, look for the ones that specialise in car wraps! We do them.
